Device description

The device transports individual, separated cartons at a constant speed from a vertical loading magazine to a receiving magazine. During transport, text can be printed on the cartons using a non-contact printer from any manufacturer, such as LINX, LEIBINGER, VIDEOJET, EBS or DOMINO. Alternatively, labels can be applied using a label applicator synchronized with the feeder, such as Avery Dennison ALS 104, ALTECH ALstep or ALritma.

The marked cartons are delivered to a horizontal receiving magazine, from which they are removed by the operator. Products are picked from the loading magazine mechanically using friction. The device is made of brushed stainless steel, plastic and aluminum. It is driven by a geared motor. The device is also equipped with mounting brackets for the printer head and the product-detection photocell.

The carton feeder consists of a body with an integrated loading magazine, a receiving conveyor serving as a horizontal receiving magazine, a base, an electrical box, and brackets for the printer head and photocell. The loading magazine has adjustable side guides that allow its dimensions to be adapted to different cartons. Optional equipment includes a counter that displays the current number of printed cartons. Once the preset value is reached, the counter switches off the drive. The electrical system has an IP56 protection rating as standard.
