Koltex KL 160 plastic regranulation line

Koltex KL 160 plastic regranulation line with a compactor for sale, manufactured in 2016.

The line is suitable for producing PP and HDPE regranulate. It can also process LDPE after a change to the material feeding system for the compactor. According to the seller, around 90% of the parts have been replaced as part of a new configuration.

The compactor has a diameter of 1,500 mm and is driven by a 160 kW AC Motoren GmbH motor through a belt drive. Material is currently fed into the compactor by a screw feeder; a belt conveyor was used originally. The configuration can be changed.

The main drive motor is a 315 kW OMEC Motors NV unit coupled to a Zambello ZPE2 / 280 / B-B7 gearbox. Speed is controlled by a frequency converter from the Polish company TWERD, based in Toruń.

The plasticising unit is new and unused. It includes a cylinder and a bimetallic screw with a diameter of 160 mm. The degassing system has a 7.5 kW Travaini vacuum pump and a stainless steel separator. The cylinder is heated by ELEG band heaters and cooled by WBS-1 fans.

The equipment also includes a two-drawer filter with a diameter of 350 mm, a Koltex water-cutting system with the option to fit a cutting element with four or six arms, a water separation tank with a vibrating table, and a centrifuge for drying granules. Water is cooled using CH Technika Chłodnicza CWT 17/900 coolers.

The line is connected and can be started for a demonstration.
