Megaplot multi-wire thermal plotter - EPS/XPS shredder, 2020

Industrial multi-wire thermal plotter manufactured by Megaplot, described in the manufacturer's documentation as a "shredder". The machine is intended for cutting blocks of expanded polystyrene EPS and extruded polystyrene XPS into boards of uniform thickness. Cutting is performed using a set of heated resistance wires mounted on a moving frame. The cutting frame moves vertically - from the upper point to the lower point - cutting the material block placed on the table. The use of multiple wires makes it possible to obtain many boards simultaneously in a single working cycle.
