PP Borealis off-grade - mixed batches, pellets in 25 kg bags

SEMANAT offers PP Borealis off-grade polypropylene pellets in original, labelled 25 kg bags placed on pallets.

Deliveries comprise a mix of batches with different colours and parameters. Below is an actual summary of three previous loads, illustrating the characteristics of the material offered.

Three loads - 71,250 kg in total

The summaries covered 2,850 bags of 25 kg each and 56 material items or batches.

Breakdown by colour:

▪ Black: 1,289 bags x 25 kg = 32,225 kg
▪ Grey: 747 bags x 25 kg = 18,675 kg
▪ Transparent: 526 bags x 25 kg = 13,150 kg
▪ White: 288 bags x 25 kg = 7,200 kg

Total: 71,250 kg - an average of 23,750 kg per load.

MFI / MFR parameters

The following melt flow index values occurred in the summaries of these deliveries:

▪ Below 1: approx. 0.30, 0.48, 0.54, 0.55.
▪ From 1 to 3: approx. 1.92, 2.0, 2.1, 2.3, 2.5.
▪ From 5 to 7: approx. 5.0, 6.0, 6.8.
▪ From 10 to 14: approx. 10, 11, 12, 12.2, 13, 14.
▪ From 18 to 26: approx. 18, 22, 23, 24, 26.
▪ From 30 to 40: approx. 30, 32, 40.

Values are stated in g/10 min. For most items in the summaries, the stated test conditions were 230°C / 2.16 kg. Parameters and test conditions are confirmed for each specific batch.

▪ One shipment contains different PP batches. It is not a single grade with uniform MFI and identical properties throughout the load.

Sale as a mix of colours and parameters

The offer covers the complete mix present in a given load: black, grey, transparent and white material. As standard, we do not separate only the light colours while leaving the black material out of the shipment.

The material is intended for recipients using off-grade PP who can sort and qualify individual batches for their own production.

Regular and repeat deliveries are possible. Before purchase, we can check the current composition of the available load and the approximate quantities of individual colours.

The stated quantities and MFI values relate to three previous deliveries. Subsequent loads may differ in colour proportions, number of batches and parameters.
