Regranulation of washed PET flakes requires precisely defined processes and solutions designed specifically for this material. Due to its high hygroscopicity, the flakes must be dried before regranulation. Our CT series lines are equipped with a disc dryer that additionally dries the PET flakes immediately before they enter the plasticizing unit.
A highly efficient vacuum degassing system is essential to achieve the greatest possible transparency of the material after granulation. A system properly matched to the machine's output enables the crystallization process to proceed fully, resulting in a high-quality end material. Drawing on many years of experience in designing PET regranulation machinery, we provide customers with a carefully selected vacuum degassing system.
A solution that deserves particular attention is the unattended strand feeding system for the granulator. In lines using strand pelletizing, strand breakage is the most troublesome issue. Conventional strand feeding into cooling baths requires the constant presence and attention of at least one operator. Thanks to our water-flow strand feeding system and specially designed granulator, the operator's role is limited to monitoring the machine and process parameters. The machine can even be supervised from another room, provided that a parameter display system using a WLAN network or GSM module is available. This solution significantly reduces labor costs, as one employee can operate several machines running simultaneously.
Our machines are equipped with electrical components that meet the highest European standards and are supplied by manufacturers such as Siemens, ABB, Delta, and Omron. As a result, customers have no difficulty obtaining any required spare parts after the warranty period. We also equip our machines with GSM modules, which often enable remote diagnostics and troubleshooting without the cost of an on-site service visit.
