3U Vision Srl

3U Vision Srl from Imola (Bologna, Italy) designs and builds optical sorting machines based on machine vision. The company was founded in 2019 by a management team with long previous experience in the optical sorting industry, and it runs research projects with universities in Rome and Bologna.

Sorter ranges:

• Fenix and Fenix mini
• Optica and Optica Mini
• Hyperion

The machines are used for wheat, rice, cereals, seeds, coffee, dried fruit and legumes, and also for minerals, metals, glass and plastics. In plastics applications they separate material by colour, by transparency or by the chemical composition of the polymer. A test room is available where customers can run sorting trials on their own materials.
