Activity description
ALMARA is a Polish family-owned company founded in 2019, specialising in the production of high-quality butyl and elastomer compounds for industry. The company is expanding its activities on the European market and is one of the leading manufacturers of butyl compounds in Central and Eastern Europe.
ALMARA supplies solutions to manufacturers of tapes, seals, laminates, insulation materials and other technical products. With its own production and R&D facilities, the company offers both standard butyl compounds and specialised formulations tailored to individual customer requirements.
The product range includes ALBU compounds, ALBU X dynamically vulcanised compounds, ALFI fire-retardant solutions, ALWA water-swellable compounds and ALXR crosslinked butyl rubber. The products are used in construction, automotive, tape and laminate production, waterproofing, fire protection and other industrial applications.
An important part of ALMARA's activity is an individual approach to customer needs. The company provides technical support covering material selection, optimisation of extrusion parameters, advice on lamination, and assistance in starting up and improving production processes. ALMARA also manufactures auxiliary tooling used in the processing of butyl compounds, such as cutting dies and forming plates.
The company has a modern laboratory that enables comprehensive quality control and research and development work. The production process is monitored at every stage – from raw material inspection and batch identification, through control of process parameters, to testing of the properties of the finished product. Test methods used include those in accordance with ISO, ASTM, FINAT and UL 94 standards.
