Bydgoski Klaster Przemysłowy Dolina Narzędziowa

The Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Tool Valley (Bydgoski Klaster Przemysłowy Dolina Narzędziowa) has existed since 2006 and brings together companies from the toolmaking and polymer processing industries, as well as business support institutions, including universities, research and development units, public administration offices, business associations and financial institutions. Most companies operating in the processing and toolmaking sectors are small and medium-sized enterprises whose operations are highly flexible. The aim of the Cluster is to integrate the community of processors and toolmakers, represent their interests and create a network of business links that supports company operations, access to qualified staff, technological development and greater innovation in production.

Companies associated in the Cluster offer high-quality injection moulds and other processing tools, and also manufacture plastic products for many industries, including household appliances, food, medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, cosmetics and packaging.

Members of the Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster form a supply chain: they offer polymer materials and plastics additives such as colourants, fillers and modifiers. They manufacture a full range of tools for plastics processing: injection moulds, blow moulds, extrusion heads and moulds for rubber processing, as well as metalworking tools: blanking dies, stamping dies and forging dies. The tools are made of steel, often based on standard mould components supplied by local suppliers. Processors offer a wide range of products manufactured by injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding.
