Daedong System Poland Sp. z o.o. was established in Wrocław in November 2007 and has operated in Cieszyn since January 2008. Its founder and sole shareholder is the Korean company Daedong System Co., Ltd. The company's headquarters is located on Mała Łąka Street, where the production hall, warehouses and administrative buildings are situated. The company operates in the automotive industry and manufactures control cables. It supplies cables for, among other things, gearbox and handbrake control to Kia and Hyundai plants located in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The plant currently employs approximately 400 people, working in a two-shift system. Thanks to modern machinery, operations are largely automated. The plant has 16 injection moulding machines with clamping forces ranging from 45 t to 170 t.
