Gamma Meccanica S.p.A., founded in 1977, designs and builds its machines at its factory in Bibbiano (Reggio Emilia, Italy), where design, construction, assembly and testing are all carried out in-house. The company has three divisions: mineral wool production lines, XPS board lines and, since 1987, plastic recycling lines.

Plastic recycling range:

• SMART lines with automation for complex or variable input streams
• Tandem lines for heavily printed, contaminated and wet materials
• Compac lines for recycling and compounding low bulk density materials
• conventional lines for pre-ground material
• top ring, water ring and underwater pelletisers
• Eco clean system for removing printing ink from flexible films

The lines process LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, EVA, PP, BOPP, PS, EPS, XPS, ABS, PC, PET, PA, TPU, TPE and biopolymers. The company employs more than 100 people and has affiliated companies in China and India.
