Activity description

IPPR (Istituto per la Promozione delle Plastiche da Riciclo) is a Milan-based organisation set up by representatives of the Italian plastics supply chain and active since 2004. Its purpose is to bring together supply and demand for recycled plastics.

Main activities:

  • Plastica Seconda Vita (PSV), an ecolabel that certifies the recycled and by-product content of plastic materials and products and supports their traceability
  • helping companies and public administrations find recycled plastic products and suppliers for green purchasing
  • annual research on the use of recycled plastics in Italy
  • news, short guides and webinars for the sector

IPPR has also signed an agreement with COREPLA on the certification of recycling processes, and its site lists certified companies and products.
