Brazing and heat treatment of moulds, production of conformal cooling channels, improving the performance of vibration welding equipment for plastics
Activity description
Listemann specialises in vacuum brazing and heat treatment of metals. We join injection mould components, nozzles and inserts by brazing with copper and nickel alloys, and we heat-treat them.
In cooperation with our customers, we produce conformal cooling channels that follow the shape of the moulding surface. They make it possible to reduce cycle time by up to 30% and ensure uniform cooling of individual mould parts.
We also braze non-standard hot runner manifolds machined by our customers.
We heat-treat tool steels. Vacuum hardening with nitrogen quenching prevents oxidation of the mould surface (scale formation).
