Polska Izba Przemysłu Chemicznego (PIPC)

The Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC) is an organisation representing the chemical industry before national and foreign public administration bodies and international organisations.

The Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry was established in 1988.

Main objectives and scope of activities:

• Supporting activities for the development of the chemical industry;
• Influencing the shape of economic and social legislation that supports the sustainable development of the chemical industry and takes into account the rights and interests of members;
• Representing the economic and social interests of Members at national and international level;
• Protecting the rights and representing the interests of Members before state authorities and administration, local government bodies and other authorities, trade unions and other organisations.

The Chamber takes part in the law-making process, among other things through active involvement in legislative work and dialogue with EU and national administrations at individual stages, and it also carries out legislative monitoring.

The members of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry include, among others:

• the largest chemical producers;
• companies from the petrochemical and refining sector;
• transport and distribution companies;
• representative offices of foreign companies;
• design offices and technology companies;
• consulting firms;
• research institutes;
• law firms;
• suppliers of apparatus and equipment.
