Sotrafa S.A., based in El Ejido (Almería, Spain), belongs to the Armando Alvarez Group and has around 50 years of experience in plastic products for farming and in geosynthetic materials used to waterproof and contain. Its geosynthetics division has supplied more than 100 million square metres of geomembranes since 2005, and the company is present in over 70 countries.
ALVATECH geomembrane range:
- HDPE, LLDPE, VLDPE and combined HDPE/LLDPE sheets
- high-temperature (HTR) and HP-OIT versions
- white layer, colour and radon barrier membranes
- anti-evaporation film for water reservoirs
Typical applications are reservoirs and canals, mining, waste disposal and other environmental works, tunnels, roads and railways. The offer is complemented by geotextiles, geogrids and drainage geonets from the group.
