The SPOIWO Cooperative was established in 1950 in Radom, where it still has its registered office today. In 1996 it was transferred into the ownership of its members. We produce rubber compounds based on our own formulations and process developments. We have our own research and development facilities, a physico-chemical laboratory and a tool shop, and we carry out continuous quality control of production and technological supervision.

We are the sole manufacturer of friction linings for mine shaft hoists, cable railways and other rope transport equipment. These linings are made of MODAR®, a polyvinyl chloride-based material, for which we hold a certificate issued by the State Mining Authority (Wyższy Urząd Górniczy).

Our customers include leading companies in Poland and abroad.
Most of our products are manufactured according to the needs and requirements of our customers. We are open to proposals for new rubber parts based on technical documentation or product samples supplied by the customer.

Our chosen approach has proved to be the right one, as confirmed by the steady growth in the Cooperative's turnover and its strong, stable position on the domestic and foreign markets. In 2003 we were awarded a silver medal at the EUREKA 2003 fair in Brussels.
