The KraussMaffei Group has announced a change in the management of KraussMaffei Extrusion. Effective September 1, 2026, Ren Xinting will assume the role of Managing Director at KraussMaffei Extrusion in addition to his current role as Managing Director of KraussMaffei China. Ralf Benack, who has served as Managing Director of KraussMaffei Extrusion since 2024 and has played a decisive role in shaping the company’s further development, will step down at his own request effective August 31, 2026. According to the company, the management change follows a period in which KraussMaffei Extrusion advanced in customer focus, operational efficiency and technology development, including shorter delivery times, further expansion of the Technology Center in Laatzen and a broader technology portfolio.

Customer focus, delivery times and technology development

Under Ralf Benack’s leadership, KraussMaffei Extrusion made progress in customer focus, operational efficiency and technological advancement. The company points to a noticeable reduction in delivery times, the consistent expansion of the Technology Center in Laatzen, which features 26 testing lines, and the expansion of the technology portfolio.

"Ralf Benack has led KraussMaffei Extrusion with great integrity, clarity, and personal commitment. He has been a strong advocate for the extrusion business, and has driven operational improvements as well as the company’s technological development. On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I would like to express my sincere thanks to him and wish him all the best for the future," said Alex Li, CEO of the KraussMaffei Group.

"It is with great pleasure that I look back on what we have achieved together in the extrusion sector, and I thank every one of the KME colleagues for the trust, passion, dedication, and outstanding collaboration along the way. KME is technologically strong and has an exceptional team. I wish Ren Xinting and the entire organization all the best and much success," says Ralf Benack.

Internal succession at KraussMaffei Extrusion

Ren Xinting will take over as Managing Director of KraussMaffei Extrusion on September 1, 2026. He has been leading KraussMaffei China for three years and, in this role, is responsible for KraussMaffei’s business across all technologies in the Chinese and wider Asian market.

"I am deeply honored by the Executive Board's trust as I step into this dual role. KraussMaffei Extrusion rests on an exceptional foundation, driven by pioneering technology, deep domain expertise, and a dedicated team. Fostering a seamless connection across our global operations enables us to serve our international customers with even greater agility and responsiveness. I look forward to working side-by-side with our talented teams in Laatzen, China, and across all our markets to build on this strong momentum," says Ren Xinting.

Before joining KraussMaffei, Ren Xinting served as Assistant General Manager at KraussMaffei Company Limited, now Sinochem Equipment Technology Qingdao Co., and held various leadership positions in the chemical industry. Most recently, he was General Manager of Shanxi China Coal Pingshuo Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.
