Material overview

Base material: POM copolymer with a very high PTFE filler content.

Origin: post-industrial stream, originally sorted from a POM/TPU mixture.

Form and appearance: orange regrind / flakes, size-sorted and dedusted.

Purity: >99.95% acetal, with TPU contamination 0.05%.

Particle size: 3-10 mm.

Fines / dust (0-1 mm): 0.1%.

Packaging: Big-Bags.

Density: 1520 kg/m³ (ISO 1183).

Melt volume rate (MVR): 6.5 cm³/10 min (190°C / 2.16 kg, ISO 1133).

Tensile modulus: 2,540 MPa (ISO 527-2/1A).

Tensile stress at yield: 48 MPa.

Flexural modulus (23°C): 2,300 MPa (ISO 178).

Charpy notched impact strength (23°C): 3.5 kJ/m² (ISO 179/1eA).

Melting temperature: 167°C.
