Trebo is a Danish recycling and sorting technology provider dedicated to creating a circular future for plastics. Using our breakthrough, patented Fluid Mechanical sorting Technology (FMT™), we deliver unmatched, virgin-like purities that can directly substitute virgin plastic in demanding production cycles.

Our FMT™ system is capable of high-precision separation across complex post-industrial and post-consumer plastic and metal waste streams. The technology operates with density differences down to 0.02 g/cm³, separates mixed polymer combinations (such as PP/PE, PET/PP, POM/PA/PP, ABS/PPTD and TPEs), and processes dark, black-on-black, or transparent materials without color or mixing ratio limitations. Operating from our headquarters and production facility in Denmark, our water-based process relies on zero harmful chemicals, protects material properties, and generates no waste-water pollution.

Trebo offers three primary solutions to match diverse industry needs:

• Closed-Loop Service: Sorting and returning high-value materials to the original owner for direct recycling in closed loop cycles.

• Open-Loop Recycling: Assisting manufacturers in meeting producer responsibility mandates by sorting complex waste streams and delivering high-purity recyclates to new markets.

• Material Sourcing & Supply: Acquiring complex waste streams and providing premium recyclates that rival virgin costs without compromising technical quality.

We act as an end-to-end compliance partner, helping brand owners and manufacturers meet strict EU regulations, such as PPWR and ELV. By providing proven recyclability testing, minimum recycled-content performance, and full traceability from waste origin to final output, Trebo enables customers to close the loop and achieve documented CO2 reductions.
