This plastics regranulation line with a feed hopper and a single extruder is designed to process clean post-production materials in regrind form.
In the configuration intended for regrind, the material is transported to the feed hopper by a screw conveyor or vacuum loader. An optional method for feeding densified material after washing is a buffer silo system that automatically supplies the material directly to the extruder. The drives of the feeding units and buffer silo are synchronized and controlled by a frequency inverter. The material feed rate is regulated fully automatically.
The feed hopper can be equipped with a forced-feeding system.
If the input material needs to be modified, the line can be fitted with the required gravimetric or volumetric dosing feeders.
The single-screw extruder provides effective material homogenization and degassing. The high quality of the materials used for the screw, barrel and other components enables long-term, continuous operation.
For materials with higher moisture content, we offer double vacuum degassing equipped with a cleaning system.
We attach great importance to the filtration screens. During the technical consultation stage, our experts analyze the material type and its level of contamination and moisture. Depending on the assessment of the input material, we can offer plate screens in various diameters, including double screens, piston screens or increasingly popular self-cleaning screens.
The lines are equipped with material drying systems. Depending on the material type, we offer a centrifuge or vibrating screen. An additional drying component is a pneumatic material transport system leading to the buffer silo.
The die type and cutting method are selected according to the material's MFI value and, where fillers are used, their properties. Our machines employ water-ring, underwater or air cutting systems.
The machines use Siemens SMART series touch panels and software. An installed GSM/Wi-Fi module enables our service team to connect directly to the machine and diagnose problems remotely. In many cases, faults can be resolved quickly and at no additional cost.
The control cabinet contains components from renowned manufacturers such as Siemens, ABB, OMRON and Schneider. This ensures easy access to spare parts after the warranty period. High-quality electrical components also ensure the reliable operation of safeguards against electrical overload, excessive pressure in the plasticizing system and excessive temperature deviations from the set value.
