We offer a fully functional and complete machinery park designed for coating steel wire with plastics (PP, PE, PVC and others).
The set includes:
Two extrusion lines: LW20CN04 (year of manufacture 2020) and LW21CN01 (year of manufacture 2021)
Complete granulate drying and dosing system by SOMOS

The machines were used in professional production of wire for IIR medical masks (PN EN14683) and FFP2 filtering half masks.
Technology description
The extrusion line is used to coat steel wire with an insulating layer of polypropylene, polyethylene or other plastics.
The production process includes:
1. Feeding bare steel wire from the pay-off unit
2. Coating the wire in the extruder head
3. Stabilization and cooling in a water bath
4. Precise wheel-belt haul-off
5. Automatic winding of the finished product onto spools
Control is based on an Allen&Bradley programmable controller communicating with inverters via the Ethernet/IP network.
An integrated STO safety function is applied.
The lines are of Polish manufacture.
