Web guiding system - material edge control

Web guiding system controls the position of the edge of the rewound material or tracks the print line and corrects its position.

The control panel sends a correction signal used to move an electric or hydraulic linear actuator connected to the correction frame. Any shifts of the rewound web are detected by photocells, ultrasonic sensors or infrared sensors. All parameters can be set on the control panel. The system displays the measurement error on the LCD screen in both graphical and numerical form.

The system operates in 3 modes: manual, automatic and auto-centering.
