CRRE 2026 to combine exhibition with recycling plant tours
CRRE 2026 will combine an onsite exhibition and 12 conferences with four plant-visit routes covering solar panels, sorting, batteries and printed circuit boards, and wind turbine blades.
The Circular Resources and Recycling Expo (CRRE 2026) will introduce live factory tours alongside its onsite exhibition, creating a two-part format for visitors seeking information on recycling technologies, recycled materials and applications. Scheduled for 25–27 November 2026 at the Suzhou International Expo Center in China, the event will operate under the theme "One Trip, Two Layers of Insight". Participants will first be able to review technologies and materials at exhibition stands, then observe selected recycling processes through organized visits to industrial plants. The format is intended for overseas buyers, sustainability managers and recycling professionals assessing developments in circular economy infrastructure and green supply chains in China.
The exhibition will occupy more than 20,000 square metres and is expected to host over 200 exhibitors. The presented solutions will cover plastics recycling, electronic waste and battery recycling, sorting and recovery, photovoltaic and wind energy equipment recycling, and packaging recycling. CRRE 2026 will also include 12 industry conferences addressing regulatory changes, market developments and technical advances. Announced topics include environmental, social and governance requirements, new consumption and circularity, solar panel recycling, and recycling of end-of-life vehicles.
Four industrial plant-visit routes
The second part of the event will comprise four specialized routes to recycling plants. The solar panel recycling route will present end-to-end recovery of materials from photovoltaic modules. The sorting and recovery route will focus on highly automated systems handling waste streams in real time.
A further route will cover high-safety recycling of batteries and printed circuit boards within one facility. The fourth program will address the processing of decommissioned wind turbine blades into durable mineral-fibre board. According to the event concept, the visits are intended to provide direct insight into the efficiency, automation and safety of selected recycling operations.
Supplier verification and regulatory requirements
The event is positioned in the context of increasing international requirements related to ESG compliance and extended producer responsibility. These developments create additional challenges for global sourcing managers responsible for assessing overseas recycling capacity and verifying supplier declarations.
By providing access to operating plants, CRRE 2026 aims to offer international visitors a practical framework for checking supplier claims, evaluating the technological maturity of recycling processes and assessing potential supply arrangements during one trip.
