CRRE 2026 to focus on resource recycling value chains

The China National Resources Recycling Association and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. will co-organize the first Circular Resources and Recycling Expo, CRRE 2026. The event is scheduled for November 25-27, 2026, at the Suzhou International Expo Center in Suzhou, China. According to the organizers, the expo is intended as a national-level platform with value-chain integration and international participation, reflecting the growing role of resource recycling in carbon neutrality strategies, supply-chain resilience and industrial competitiveness. CRRE 2026 will cover multiple recycling sectors, including plastics, textiles, metals, packaging, electronics, batteries, automotive components, solar modules and wind turbine blades.

A dual-format platform for recycling sectors

CRRE 2026 will occupy a total area of 20,000 square meters and will use a dual format combining high-level conferences with an on-site trade exhibition. The organizers project that the event will host more than 200 global exhibitors and dedicated thematic showcase areas.

The expo aims to establish itself as an Asia-Pacific hub for the resource recycling industry by structuring its ecosystem around five integrated pillars:

• collection and recycling,
• reprocessing,
• high-value applications,
• green finance,
• international standards and regulations.

Conferences and business matching

Knowledge exchange at the event will be supported by conferences and forums, including two flagship meetings, the ESG Development Conference and the Circular Resources and Recycling Conference.

The exhibition programme will also include invitation-only business matching meetings. These sessions are intended to connect exhibitors and visitors with procurement decision-makers from major global corporations, including BYD, CATL, P&G and IKEA.

China-Egypt cooperation

CRRE 2026 is expected to welcome several foreign delegations, including a group from Egypt. The organizers recently signed a strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with Eco Green Waste Management and the E-Waste Committee under the Federation of Egyptian Industries.

The partnership, led by Ahmed Salem, Chairman of both EGWM and EWC-FEI, is intended to support China-Egypt cooperation in technology development and business matching, with the aim of accelerating the global circular economy.

The Egyptian delegation is expected to include approximately 40 senior executives, general managers and decision-makers representing key green economy sectors in Egypt. These include municipal solid waste treatment, plastics recycling, power battery recycling and textile recovery. The delegation will also include representatives from Egyptian Electronics Recycling Co., a major e-waste recycler, and Ertekaa, one of Egypt’s largest solid waste recycling companies.

Procurement priorities

During the expo, the Egyptian delegation will seek manufacturing and technology partnerships. Its procurement mission will focus on three main areas:

• Electronics and metal recycling: advanced e-waste collection systems, processing lines and hydrometallurgical precious metal recovery equipment for printed circuit boards.
• New energy and resource recovery: comprehensive recycling systems for lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, waste tire processing lines, industrial solid waste treatment technologies, textile recycling systems and integrated paper-pulp and plastic processing systems.
• Precision sorting and recycling: municipal solid waste sorting systems, high-efficiency PET flake washing lines and automated smart sanitation and waste collection-transport equipment.

According to the organizers, this targeted procurement mission reflects Egypt’s increasing demand for advanced recycling technologies and illustrates the role of CRRE 2026 as a cross-border business platform.

The event is positioned as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific market and as a platform for international cooperation in resource recycling and the circular economy.
