Finat Label Competition updates format for 2027
Finat is revising the structure of its Label Competition for 2027 to reflect current technologies, applications and industry practices. Registration is open, with entries accepted until 12 February 2027.
Finat has announced changes to the Finat Label Competition for its 2027 edition, together with the opening of early registration. The competition, which has been held for more than 45 years, focuses on self-adhesive labels and recognises achievements in design, printing, converting and innovation. According to the organiser, it is regarded as one of the label industry’s leading international competitions, presenting examples of creativity, craftsmanship and technical performance in label production. The update for 2027 is intended to make the competition more closely aligned with current developments in the label and narrow-web converting industry, including new technologies and applications, while also making the structure clearer for both entrants and judges.
Revised categories and entry procedures
For the 2027 edition, Finat is introducing a number of updates to the competition format. The revised structure is designed to reflect today’s technologies, applications and the people involved in label production more accurately. It is also intended to make the competition more intuitive for companies submitting entries and for the jury assessing them.
Participation in the Finat Label Competition gives label printers the opportunity to compare their work with international standards and to gain recognition among industry peers. The organiser notes that, beyond the possibility of receiving an award, entering the competition demonstrates a company’s focus on quality, innovation, creativity, technical excellence and craftsmanship.
Entries accepted until February 2027
Finat invites label printers worldwide, both members and non-members, to select their strongest work and submit entries by 12 February 2027. Entrants are advised to review the updated competition guidelines carefully and to familiarise themselves with the revised categories and entry procedures before submitting their work.
The winners of the 2027 Finat Label Competition will be revealed and honoured on 19 May 2027 in Warsaw.
