Krones unifies process technology under one brand

Before beverages, liquid foods and other liquid products can be filled and packaged, they must first be produced, processed and treated in line with their specific requirements. Process technology therefore forms a key part of the value chain for manufacturers in these sectors and has been one of the Krones Group's core areas of expertise for decades. Until now, the Group's solutions and technologies in this field have been distributed among several companies and brands, each specialising in particular industries, technologies or regions. Krones is now streamlining the market presence of this business under a single performance brand, Krones Processing. The stated objective is to improve transparency and provide customers with easier access to the Group's process technology portfolio. The existing organisation, including its companies and their respective expertise, will remain unchanged. The new element is a unified brand identity covering the Group's technologies and capabilities in beverage production.

Expertise across the value chain

Krones Processing consolidates the Group's expertise across the entire process technology value chain. It provides a central point of access to solutions for producing, processing and treating products ranging from liquids to highly viscous media, covering various industries and technologies.

The portfolio is intended for beverage and liquid food manufacturers, as well as companies operating in the home and personal care and bioprocessing sectors. It extends from raw material intake and storage to thermal processing and finishing treatments for different product types.

Krones Processing also supplies units and components including valves, pumps, heat exchangers and homogenizers. Its scope includes the planning and implementation of fully integrated processing lines together with the required automation solutions.

Global network and regional expertise

The technology portfolio is supported by an international network. It includes the Process Technology business unit of Krones AG, with teams in Germany, China, the Middle East, North America and South America.

The European subsidiaries operating within Krones Processing are Evoguard, GHS, HST, Krones Processing Netherlands, Milkron, Perfinox and Steinecker. In North America, the network comprises Ampco Pumps, Javlyn and Krones Process Group North America. Its Asian operations include Krones Izumi, Krones Processing India and Krones Processing Shanghai. These entities are supported by the Krones Group's international structure.

Over time, Krones Processing will bring the network's technological expertise and experience under a single brand identity, with the aim of presenting the portfolio more clearly to customers.
