Mold-Masters expands service support in Saudi Arabia

Mold-Masters is expanding its service capabilities in the Middle East through an agreement with sister company Coperion. The cooperation allows Mold-Masters to serve customers from Coperion's existing location in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, rather than establishing a separate facility. The arrangement is intended to improve regional access to technical support, spare parts and services for hot runner systems and related equipment.

The service centre is fully operational for Mold-Masters and serves customers in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. It provides local access to spare parts, repair and refurbishment services, as well as field service support. According to the company, locating these resources in the region will reduce service response times and spare part lead times. Many customers in the Middle East were previously supported through the company's service operations in India.

"Our customers depend on rapid response and reliable service to keep production running efficiently," said Blair Krauter, Senior Director of Aftermarket Services. "By establishing a service facility in Saudi Arabia, we can provide faster turnaround times, increased spare parts availability, and closer technical support for processors throughout the Middle East."

Support throughout the equipment lifecycle

The Jubail service centre will support the complete lifecycle of hot runner systems and related equipment. Its service scope includes:

  • locally stocked spare parts intended to reduce lead times;
  • cleaning, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of hot runner systems;
  • field service at customers' sites, troubleshooting and technical support;
  • preventive maintenance and performance optimisation.

The service centre is equipped with specialised machinery for servicing hot runner components. The installed equipment includes an industrial cleaning oven with a maximum load capacity of 5,000 kg, allowing the facility to process large manifolds and other components.
