Prescan Packaging adds N096M aerosol overcap

Prescan Packaging has expanded its range with the N096M aerosol overcap, designed for aluminium transfer cans. The product is already available for sale. The new N096M overcap was developed for products using aluminium containers with a diameter of 53 mm and a transfer-type finish. Its introduction is another step in the development of Prescan Packaging's portfolio of packaging and closures dedicated to the aerosol sector. According to the company, the product responds to current directions in cosmetic packaging, where visual and tactile references known from food products are increasingly used to influence the first contact between the consumer and the packaged product.

One of the trends currently observed in the cosmetic packaging sector is the use of inspiration drawn from the food market. Cosmetics manufacturers are increasingly choosing shapes, colours and textures associated with food products, including desserts or whipped cream. Such solutions are intended to create associations with pleasure and to emphasise the character of the product already at the stage of consumer contact with the packaging.

Design for beauty applications

The N096M was designed to fit this direction. Its matt finish and the possibility of using subtle colours make it possible to achieve an aesthetic aligned with current requirements in the beauty market. The use of appropriately selected colours and a matt surface is intended to distinguish the product from competing solutions.
