Sanner appoints Jean-Edouard Rabier as CBDO

Sanner Group, a global healthcare packaging and medical device CDMO, has announced the appointment of Jean-Edouard Rabier as Chief Business Development Officer, effective September 1, 2026. The newly created executive position is intended to support the company’s investment in commercial excellence following its recent strategic expansion. The appointment strengthens Sanner’s leadership team as the company moves into its next phase of international growth. According to the company, the role reflects its focus on using the full commercial potential of its expanded capabilities, developing strategic markets, deepening customer partnerships and strengthening its global market position across pharmaceutical packaging, medical devices, diagnostics, drug delivery and consumer healthcare.

Sanner said its business has evolved into a fully integrated global partner for healthcare companies following the acquisitions of Springboard and Gilero, as well as significant investments in manufacturing capacity in Germany and the United States. The company described the appointment of a dedicated Chief Business Development Officer as part of this broader development.

Commercial leadership for the next stage of growth

Jean-Edouard Rabier brings more than 20 years of international commercial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries to his new role. During his career, he has held senior leadership positions at West and Aptar. Most recently, he led Sales & Business Development for Pharma & Biopharma Solutions Injectables at Gerresheimer.
