Visitors to Cibus Tec 2026 will be able to explore Sidel solutions for the food and beverage packaging industry. The presentations will take place at stand A 002 in hall 3, from 27 to 30 October at Fiere di Parma in Italy. The company will showcase technologies developed for reliable operation and flexible handling of a broad range of primary and secondary packaging. These include bottles, shaped containers, jars, cans, containers, flexible packaging and cartons, as well as regular slotted cases, wrap-around cases, shelf-ready packaging and film packs. According to Sidel, these solutions are intended to help manufacturers adapt their processes to changing products, formats and production requirements. The trade fair in Parma will also provide an opportunity to discuss production challenges with the company's experts and see solutions for food and beverage manufacturers in operation.

High-performance palletising demonstrations

One of the main presentations at the Sidel stand will be live demonstrations of the RoboAccess_Pal S solution. This compact, complete palletising system combines robotics and cobotics. It has been designed to replace manual operations and increase flexibility, ease of use and productivity at plants in the food, home and personal care sectors, referred to as FHPC.

The system can handle packs weighing up to 25 kg at a rate of up to 12 cycles per minute. According to the manufacturer, the typical return on investment period is between one and two years.

"RoboAccess_Pal S incorporates three new patented solutions that further increase the system's flexibility, ease of use and compactness," said Thierry Grassart, Sales Director for FHPC, Northern and Southern Europe at Sidel. "The lightweight gripper head, made of carbon fibre and 3D-printed components, enables heavier loads to be handled while reducing the machine footprint and accommodating a wide range of secondary packaging formats. The solution can be delivered in as little as ten weeks."

Solutions for complete packaging lines

Sidel will also present solutions for complete packaging lines intended to support manufacturers in increasing profitability and meeting sustainability targets. They accommodate multiple primary packaging formats, including shaped containers, jars, cans, containers, flexible packaging, and glass and PET bottles.

As a complete line supplier, Sidel combines design, equipment, automation and services. The objective is to optimise performance, protect product quality and food safety, increase production flexibility, and prepare packaging processes for the evolving requirements of the circular economy.

"Our extensive experience in the packaging industry covers line concept and design, controls and automation, packaging technologies, equipment, and services provided throughout the entire equipment life cycle," said Alessandro Piazza, Sales Account Manager at Sidel. "At Cibus Tec, visitors will be able to experience these capabilities first-hand and work with our experts to develop packaging solutions that address today's priorities and future opportunities. We look forward to welcoming customers and industry representatives to our stand."
