Sidel to showcase palletising and line digitalisation
At Pack Expo International 2026, Sidel will present the compact RoboAccess_Pal S palletising system and solutions for blow moulding, aseptic production, pasteurisation and digital optimisation of packaging lines.
Sidel will present hardware and digital solutions aimed at increasing packaging line performance at Pack Expo International 2026. Visitors to booth S-2431 will see the RoboAccess_Pal S system in operation and learn about technologies for the production of beverages, food products, household chemicals and cosmetics, including EvoBLOW Laser, Aseptic Predis X4, Swing Evo and Evo-ON. The solutions on display are intended to address challenges related to maximising line performance, increasing flexibility, reducing resource consumption and simplifying increasingly complex production processes. The company will present an approach covering the entire line, high-performance equipment and services tailored to the priorities of individual plants. The technology demonstrations will be supplemented by practical educational sessions on balanced line design, referred to by the company as Balanced Line Design. Their purpose will be to help identify critical points and inefficiencies, as well as opportunities to improve performance, flexibility and resource use.
Compact palletising system
The main exhibit at the Sidel booth will be RoboAccess_Pal S, a compact palletising solution combining the performance of robotics with the manoeuvrability and accessibility associated with cobotics. The upgraded model is intended for low- and medium-speed lines. It is designed to meet demand for higher payload and speed without requiring the space occupied by a traditional robotic palletiser.
The system occupies less than 12 m² in a configuration with two palletising stations, reaches up to 11 cycles per minute and handles loads weighing up to 25 kg. According to the manufacturer's design assumptions, this makes it possible to automate manual palletising, adapt the process to changing production requirements and maintain high performance in plants where available space is limited.
Technologies for successive line stages
Sidel's showcased portfolio will cover successive process stages, from packaging design, blow moulding and filling to labelling, packing and end-of-line integration. EvoBLOW Laser is a next-generation bottle blow moulding technology developed to improve efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of PET bottle production.

For sensitive beverages, Aseptic Predis X4 combines food safety, operational efficiency and sustainability objectives. Swing Evo, Sidel's new generation of tunnel pasteurisers, uses smarter controls and is intended to deliver significantly lower resource consumption.
Digital performance monitoring
Digitalisation will be represented by Evo-ON, a cloud-based suite for monitoring and optimising packaging line performance. The system collects and analyses equipment data around the clock. Evo-ON applications convert machine data into operationally useful information, including proactive alerts and notifications, configurable dashboards and reports.
Line design sessions
Sidel will also conduct one-hour expert sessions focused on balanced production line design. Participants are expected to receive practical, data-based guidance on optimising performance and increasing the operational efficiency of both new and existing installations.
The company's engineering experts will discuss the design and interpretation of V-Graphs and the factors affecting line design. The sessions will cover accumulation, machine availability, mean time to repair (MTTR), mean time between failures (MTBF), and overspeed strategies. Simulation examples will also be presented to show how individual design decisions can affect overall line performance.
