At BrauBeviale 2026, Sidel will present solutions for beverage producers aimed at improving efficiency, reducing resource consumption and adapting lines to future production needs. The company's portfolio includes complete, ready-to-use packaging lines for cans, glass and PET, as well as technologies for aseptic packaging, PET heating, pasteurisation and bottle washing.

"Today's beverage producers are looking for partners that can support them at every stage of the packaging process, while helping them increase efficiency and flexibility and achieve ambitious sustainability targets," said Guillaume Rolland, Sidel Vice President of Beverage Sales for Europe and Central Asia. "At BrauBeviale, we are showing how Sidel combines comprehensive whole-line expertise with breakthrough technologies that enable producers to remain competitive while preparing for future challenges," he added.

Lines for cans, glass and PET

Sidel offers turnkey solutions for cans, glass packaging and PET containers, including systems that enable the reuse of glass and PET bottles. The company combines engineering expertise, equipment solutions and integration capabilities to design and optimise entire production lines in line with the needs of breweries, soft drink producers, water bottling plants and other beverage facilities.

At the trade fair, the company will present its approach to project delivery, aimed at increasing line efficiency, product quality and operational performance. The scope of support covers investment in new production capacity, upgrades to existing plants and diversification of packaging formats. Sidel states that it can support every stage of the project life cycle.

Aseptic packaging in PET

One of the solutions on display will be Aseptic Predis X4, the latest generation of Sidel's dry aseptic technology. The system is designed for aseptic filling into PET bottles and is intended to provide simpler operation, lower utility consumption and greater production flexibility. According to the company, the solution can reduce the environmental impact of production while improving overall equipment effectiveness and process reliability.

Aseptic Predis X4 also supports packaging lightweighting strategies while maintaining product integrity and shelf life. The system uses dry preform sterilisation before the blowing process, integrated directly into the blow moulder. The solution was developed for sensitive beverages, including juices, teas, isotonic drinks, dairy products and other low-acid products.

Eliminating bottle rinsing and reducing water and chemical consumption are intended to support compliance with the required food safety standards while lowering the process's resource demand.

Laser heating of PET preforms

Sidel will also present its laser oven technology as an alternative to conventional infrared heating systems used in PET bottle production. The solution uses laser energy to heat preforms precisely and uniformly before the blowing process.

According to the company, the technology can reduce energy consumption, improve process control and maintain consistent bottle quality. Precise heating is also intended to increase flexibility in bottle design and enable the processing of demanding materials, including PET with a high recycled content.

Pasteurisation and ultrasonic bottle washing

In the processing segment, Sidel will present the Swing Evo pasteuriser and the Hydra Ultrasonic bottle washer. Both systems were developed to reduce resource consumption while improving operational efficiency and product quality.

The Swing Evo pasteuriser is the next generation of the company's tunnel pasteurisation solution. Designed for breweries and beverage producers, the system optimises water, energy and chemical consumption while ensuring consistent product quality and food safety. Its design is intended to combine operational flexibility with a lower total cost of ownership.

Hydra Ultrasonic is a washer designed for returnable glass bottles and reusable PET bottles. The system uses ultrasonic technology to clean containers. According to Sidel, it can significantly reduce water, energy and chemical consumption compared with conventional washing methods.
