Taropak 2026 with free registration until 7 September

On 23–25 September 2026, Poznań will once again become a meeting place for representatives of the packaging and labelling industry. The Taropak International Trade Fair is a B2B event dedicated to solutions for the packaging market, covering packaging technologies, materials, logistics, as well as issues related to product design and identification. The organisers state that professionals and industry representatives who register online by 7 September are guaranteed free admission to the event. This year's edition is to be linked with the Polagra trade fair held in parallel, enabling visitors to become familiar with an offer relevant to the full value chain, from raw materials and packaging machines to final design and logistics.

One ticket for two events

Taropak will be held in parallel with the Polagra trade fair, described by the organisers as the largest event for the food and HoReCa industry. As a result, a rule has been introduced under which one ticket grants admission to both events. The organisers indicate that this solution results from the links between the packaging sector and the food market, which receives 70% of packaging production.

Access to both events is intended to enable participants to meet suppliers and customers operating in different parts of the supply chain. The areas presented during the events include raw materials, packaging machines, logistics solutions and packaging design. The importance of the parallel Polagra trade fair is to be underlined by the participation of the retail chains Lidl and Żabka as the event's main partners. The organisers indicate that their presence will provide an opportunity to exchange experience and learn about current trends in the FMCG sector.

Packaging technologies, logistics and material solutions

The Taropak exhibition is to cover modern packaging technologies and logistics solutions. Filmat, a Polish manufacturer of packaging equipment, including systems using shrink film, has confirmed its participation. At the stand of the distributor PHU Best, visitors will be able to consult experts from Lantech, a manufacturer of stretch wrappers, and specialists from Floeter, a company operating in the area of transport protection.

Exhibitors will also include Pulp Tec, which specialises in the creation of biodegradable, sustainable protective packaging. The logistics and e-commerce sector will be represented by MHLIFT, offering equipment for warehouse technology and short-distance transport, and PK System, a supplier of systems securing products in the supply chain.

The printing industry will be presented by Infograf, a supplier of machinery and services for the printing sector. The companies indicated by the organisers also include Sefko and Folmat. The former produces personalised flexible packaging, while the latter distributes packaging films and supplies solutions for various branches of industry. Limburger, in turn, will present solutions for the production of aluminium packaging.

Conference programme and deposit return system

In addition to the exhibition section, a conference programme is planned on the Main Stage in Aleja Lipowa. One of the items will be a debate summarising the first year of operation of the deposit return system in Poland. This topic remains important for packaging producers, entities placing products on the market, retailers and companies involved in return logistics.

Experts are also to discuss the role of transparent certification in building brand credibility and counteracting greenwashing. These issues are part of a broader discussion on sustainable packaging development, environmental responsibility, and regulatory and market requirements for packaging manufacturers and users.
