Taropak 2026 attracted nearly 300 exhibitors
The joint Taropak and Polagra trade fair block attracted more than 8,000 visitors. Nearly 300 exhibitors presented packaging, labelling, food technology and logistics solutions.
The Taropak 2026 International Trade Fair of Packaging Technology and Labelling was held on 23–25 September at the Poznań International Fair grounds, alongside the Polagra trade fair. Over three days, the joint trade fair block attracted nearly 300 exhibitors and more than 8,000 visitors. Participants included representatives of public administration, business and trade, as well as international partners.
Combining the two events made it possible to present the full value chain, from food technologies, through packaging and labelling solutions, to logistics. The Taropak stands featured packaging, labelling and logistics process technologies. The event also enabled direct meetings between manufacturers and buyers, importers and distributors representing these market segments.
Discussions between public administration and business
This year's event was attended by representatives of public administration, including Małgorzata Gromadzka, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Grzegorz Wrona, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets. Representatives of central and regional government, the diplomatic corps and industry organisations were also present at the official opening.
Discussions held during the event focused on challenges related to security of supply, production and energy costs, as well as the competitiveness of Polish companies, including packaging and machinery manufacturers.
Participation of international buyers
The international scope of the event was supported by the Hosted Buyers Program. Under the programme, selected international buyers interested in specific product categories travelled to Poznań. The programme was aimed at exhibitors from both events, Taropak and Polagra, and facilitated direct business contacts.
The joint trade fair block brought together packaging and technology manufacturers with representatives of the food sector, trade, public administration and institutions involved in business development. The next Taropak trade fair will take place on 15–17 September 2027 in Poznań.
