This in-person, two-days conference offers a unique opportunity to discuss the most relevant matters that the PET value chain is facing. The recently proposed amendments - in particular on the SUPD, the PPWR and the 1616/2022 Directive - require proper evaluations and indications from EU industry, to ensure the creation of a genuine level playing field, between EU and non-EU countries.
Only through a proper coordination between the EU Institutions and EU business, EU industry can sustain development of a sustainable economy in the EU.
The presence of ICIS will allow the attendees to explore the evolution of the EU market and get strong insights into how PET is progressing vs. circularity in other regions of the world.
