- M4 thread, blind moulded-in insert, brass
- length: 10.30 mm; diameter: 5.90 mm
- recess for a stepped mould pin: 1.60 mm
- minimum thread length: 7.05 mm (approximately 6.8 turns)
- plastic does not enter the thread

Pencom threaded inserts are designed to be moulded into injection-moulded parts. The insert is placed on a mould pin before injection. This method provides high joint strength without an additional operation after moulding.

Series:

- TMBZ - blind, with a closed bottom thread; plastic does not enter the thread; M3-M6
- TMBZC - blind, longer, with a recess for a stepped mould pin; M2-M10
- MBZ (blind), MTZ (through-hole), FTZ (blind with a recess) - standard series with diamond knurling
- HXZ - hexagonal, for soft plastics and rotational moulding
