The Packaging & Storage Forum is a sole presentation-and-exhibition project in Belarus dedicated to production and application of packaging, label, marking, packaging equipment, materials and innovation packaging technologies in all branches of industry, matters of collecting, recycling, and utilization of packaging waste, as well as the latest equipment for warehousing, soft and automated control systems allowing to realize transportation, storing, and distributing of production.

Fundamental project of the International Specialized Forum "Packaging & Storage” serves as the “World of Packaging” exhibition. During 12 years of existence of the “World of Packaging” prestigious international arrangement completely dedicated to matters of packaging and storage from A to Z has been increased. Annually the forum attracts more and more attention among specialists because it is the main and biggest event in the packaging branch of the Republic of Belarus.

Object of the Forum

To promote formation and development contemporary packaging-and-label branch, rigging Belarusian and foreign enterprises the newest packaging and printing technologies, equipment, materials, and interpretation of matters of recycling and reclamation of packaging waste, inculcation the newest, ecological-and-safe technologies of recycling of packaging waste as well as to show advantages of modern problem solving and the latest equipment for warehousing, soft and automated control systems allowing to realize transportation, storing, and distributing of production.

Traditionally, the “Packaging & Storage” forum is devoted to two main directions: Efficacious packaging for all branches as well as contemporary storage: technologies, management, and efficacy.

Exposition

Subject content of the Packaging Forum including four expositional projects: the 13th International Specialized “World of Packaging” Exhibition, the 10th jubilee International Specialized “Modern Label” and “Polymers & Glass in Packaging” Salons, the 5th International “Storage Technologies” Exhibition, and a comprehensive business program for specialists: the 8th International “Packaging & Label– 2012. Recycling 2012” Business-Forum.

The “World of Packaging” Exhibition is focused on: packaging materials and equipment, ready-made packaging, warehouse and transport packing, logistic, waste utilization, repacking.

The “Modern Label” Salon called upon to demonstrate consumables, equipment and technologies for label and packaging production making, attendant chemistry for printing, equipment for efficient label making on enterprises, label production for all industry branches, design and artistic appearance of label.

The “Polymers & Glasss in Packaging” Salon is dedicated to demonstrate large nomenclature of polymeric and combined materials, modern equipment, raw materials and technologies for polymeric packing articles production different functional setting.

The “Storage Technologies” Exhibition presents following directions: construction of storage-houses and distribution centers; industrial and enterprises’ storages; modern conceptions of storage logistics and infrastructure; WMS-system of storage management, storage accounting; control and sorting technologies and equipment; RFID-technologies; SCM-system of the delivery chain management; EPR-systems for the retail trade management; automatic storage, automatic equipment for inside logistics and distribution centers, conveyer systems, automatic commission and sorting systems; equipment and machinery for storage, lifting-and-loading machinery; systems of safety and video control, storage safety provision; storage and trade complexes cleaning; industrial, storage and transportation containers, bar-codes and marking.

Moreover, there is the 8th International Specialized "Bread and Confectionery" Exhibition will be held at the same time and place with the Forum. Joint organization of these two Projects has became the efficacious Event attracting attention of a very large-scale audience of specialists from related branches, promoting business contacts growth, and new ideas and solutions exchange for further business development.

Statistic

  • 87 Exhibitors from Belarus, Bulgaria, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and United Kingdom demonstrated their production, services and solutions for such spheres as: perfumery, household chemical goods, pharmaceutics, food and light industry, production of domestic appliances, building materials, furniture, and also for retail shops, trade nets, and establishments of catering. They appear equipment and raw stuff for packaging production, ready-made packing articles for foodstuff, consumer goods, and consumables for making label production, thermoplastic automatic machines, extrusion equipment, raw and auxiliary materials for production of packaging polymeric and combined materials.
  • More than 7500 Visitors-Specialists from Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine, and delegates from more than 40 Belarusian towns and cities.

    The International Business-Forum “Packaging & Label– 2012. Recycling- 2012” will take place for the eight time with such subjects as:

  • Recycling of packaging: technologies, equipment, and experience.
  • Packaging as a means of product promotion.
  • The object of the business forum is to show tendencies, modern technologies and innovations, to discuss urgent problems of the National and Foreign packaging industry, to demonstrate new designs, to organize regular meetings of packaging professionals.

    • Following the existing traditions, within the framework of the International Specialized “Packaging & Storage” Forum, presentations of new production, equipment, round tables, and thematic seminars as well as the 13th Republican Contest for the best packaging and label “Golden Nut”, and the “Packaging of Future” competition of student works will be held.
