Synergy to present PET technologies at drinktec India 2026
Synergy will present PET packaging production, blowing and filling technologies at drinktec India 2026. The solutions discussed will include the LBP low-pressure blowing system, the integrated Synergy Combi line and the SR 8 machine.
At drinktec India 2026, Synergy will present PET packaging and filling technologies, focusing on reducing energy consumption, optimising production costs and maintaining reliable performance. The event will take place from 28 to 30 October at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The trade fair is a B2B platform for the beverage, dairy and liquid food industries, focusing on processing, filling, packaging and production technologies. Ashish Deshpande, Managing Director of Synergy, will discuss the changing needs of beverage producers in India and technologies supporting more efficient and sustainable PET packaging production. Complete lines, blowing technologies, digital services and the LBP low-pressure blowing solution will be presented at Sidel's stand D051 in hall 4.

Blowing at pressures below 20 bar
The main focus of Synergy's presentation will be the LBP solution, developed to reduce compressed air consumption during PET bottle production without compromising bottle quality, process stability or production efficiency. Reducing blowing pressure to below 20 bar is expected to deliver energy savings of up to 40%. A lower compressor load can also help reduce CO2 emissions, while more efficient air use helps lower operating costs and optimise the production cost per bottle.
The technology combines an optimised mould and base design for efficient material distribution at lower pressure with an improved stretch rod system. The system is intended to provide stable and repeatable preform stretching. A dedicated LBP control panel enables operators to manage blowing parameters and adjust them precisely to process requirements. The combination of these solutions reduces compressed air demand while maintaining bottle quality and durability.
Integrated Synergy Combi process
Synergy will also present its Synergy Combi solution for water producers. The system combines blowing, filling and capping in one compact production process. Its design is intended to simplify line configuration, reduce operational complexity, minimise the number of interfaces between machines and optimise the use of production floor space, while maintaining consistent performance and hygiene standards.
According to the company, the solution addresses the needs of water producers that must balance growing production requirements with cost control and quality maintenance. The integrated system provides a scalable approach to PET bottle production.
Machines for water and carbonated beverages
The trade fair portfolio will also include rotary and linear blowing technologies, including the Synergy SR 8 rotary blow moulding machine. The equipment has been developed to process PET and recycled PET, particularly in the production of packaging for water and carbonated beverages.
The SR 8 machine reaches an output of up to 18,000 bottles per hour for the 1-litre format. It can be integrated with Synergy's Combi equipment, labellers and palletisers to form complete packaging lines. The blowing machine portfolio also includes preferential heating technology and solutions for producing wide-mouth jars and bottles with handles.
Digital services and operational support
In addition to equipment, Synergy offers digital solutions and services covering the entire product lifecycle. They are intended to support longer uptime, process consistency and operational control. The company's systems are designed and assembled in Pune, India. Synergy also highlights more than 20 years of manufacturing experience and a network of sales partners operating in India, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
