German Evonik Industries, a global leader of chemicals completed the sale of its black carbon activities to the US based investors Rhône Capital and Triton Partners. Carbon black activities brought sales worth of around €1.2 billion in 2010. New business operates as Orion Engineered Carbons.

Graham Packaging to be acquired by Reynolds Group

Graham Packaging Company Inc. have announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement, and an amendment thereto, under which Graham Packaging will be acquired by Reynolds Group Holdings Limited in an all-cash transaction for $25.50 per share, or a total of approximately $4.5 billion including assumed indebtedness.

Berkshire Partners and OMERS Private Equity to acquire Husky International
