Michelin has developed the world’s biggest tire, the MICHELIN XDR 59/80R63

The world’s largest tire, the MICHELIN XDR 59/80 R 63 will welcome visitors to BAUMA 2010. It will be on display in the atrium between Halls A3 and B3. The 63-inch tire measures more than 4 meters high, weighs 5.3 tonnes and can carry loads of up to 100 tonnes. This record-breaking tire has enabled equipment manufacturers to design and produce the latest generation of giant trucks used today in mines around the world.
