TotalEnergies and CooperVision use ISCC Plus PP in lens packs

TotalEnergies and CooperVision have enabled the use of ISCC Plus-certified polypropylene in blister packs for selected contact lenses, using a mass balance approach. The renewable polymer is derived mainly from sunflower and rapeseed oils processed at La Mède and is intended to improve packaging footprint without changing performance.

Ineos Styrolution scales recycled polystyrene for Aldi Süd

Ineos Styrolution has introduced sour cream cups with 30% recycled polystyrene in Aldi Süd stores across Germany, developed with Aldi Süd and Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller. In July 2025 the cups were recognised with the German Packaging Award in the “Sustainability: recycled content” category.
