3E Machinery PC3280 is an efficient industrial knife mill designed for size reduction of a wide range of plastics and post-production waste. This model combines a compact design with a powerful 30 kW drive system, allowing it to operate both as a stand-alone machine and as part of a complete technological line.

The mill is equipped with a cutting system with a working width of 800 mm. A properly designed rotor working with stationary knives ensures effective material cutting and a uniform regrind size controlled by the installed screen.

Controlled regrind size:

Material fed into the cutting chamber is reduced by the rotor and stationary knife system. It then passes through a replaceable screen, whose perforation determines the required final fraction size.

This allows the regrind parameters to be adapted to subsequent stages of the technological process, such as regranulation, extrusion or reuse of the material in the production process.

Stand-alone mill or second grinding stage:

PC3280 can operate as a stand-alone knife mill with a manual or automatic material feeding system. Depending on requirements, it can be equipped with a transport fan, pneumatic installation, cyclone and Big-Bag material collection station.

This model also performs very well as the second stage of a shredding process, working with a low-speed single-shaft shredder.

In such a system, the shredder is responsible for reducing large items to an intermediate fraction, while PC3280 performs final grinding of the material to the required uniform fraction.

Possibility of building a complete system:

PC3280 can be integrated with conveyors, metal separators, dedusting systems, pneumatic conveying and Big-Bag stations.

This makes it possible to create a complete automated shredding line, individually designed for the type of waste, required capacity and expected final product.
