3E Machinery PC42100 is a high-performance industrial knife granulator designed for intensive size reduction of plastics and post-production waste. A large cutting chamber, wide rotor and 45 kW drive make this model a suitable solution for production and recycling plants requiring high throughput and consistent regrind quality.

The machine is equipped with a rotor with a working width of 1000 mm and a diameter of approximately 420 mm. A properly designed system of rotor and stationary knives ensures efficient material cutting, while the replaceable screen allows control of the resulting fraction size.

Controlled and uniform final fraction

The size reduction process is carried out through the cooperation of knives mounted on the rotor with stationary knives. The material remains in the working chamber until it reaches a size that allows it to pass through the appropriately selected screen.

Changing the screen perforation makes it possible to adjust the regrind size to subsequent technological processes, such as regranulation, extrusion or direct reuse of the material in production.

Standalone granulator or part of a complete line

PC42100 can operate as a standalone machine equipped with a feeding conveyor and material discharge system. Finished regrind can be pneumatically transported by a fan to a cyclone or Big-Bag station.

This model also performs very well as a second size-reduction stage, working with low-speed single-shaft shredders of the WT series.

In this configuration, large waste is first pre-shredded and then fed to the PC42100, where it is finally ground to the required fraction.

Individual configuration options

Depending on the type of material and technological process, the granulator can be configured in terms of cutting system, rotor type, screen perforation, feeding method and finished regrind discharge system.

Special versions of the machine can also be prepared for specific applications, such as processing long plastic profiles and pipes, by adapting the feeding system and hopper design accordingly.
