3E Machinery PC42120 is a high-performance industrial knife granulator designed for intensive size reduction of plastics and post-production waste. The wide cutting chamber, powerful 75 kW drive system and robust construction make this model suitable for demanding applications in production plants and professional recycling installations.
The machine is equipped with a rotor with a working width of 1200 mm and a diameter of approximately 420 mm. The properly designed cutting system geometry ensures efficient material cutting, while the interchangeable screen allows control of the final fraction size.

The 75 kW drive provides sufficient power reserve when processing larger quantities of material and demanding waste with thicker walls and larger dimensions.
The material is shredded between the rotor and stationary knives, and then passes through the interchangeable screen. Selecting the appropriate perforation makes it possible to obtain a fraction suited to the next stage of the process.
The finished regrind can be used for regranulation, extrusion, compounding with virgin material or reuse in the production process.
Standalone machine or second-stage size reduction
PC42120 can operate as a standalone knife granulator equipped with a feeding conveyor and an automatic finished material discharge system.
In professional recycling installations, this model performs very well as a second-stage size reduction unit, working with low-speed single-shaft shredders of the WT series or other machines for preliminary size reduction.

Individual configuration
Depending on the type of material, PC42120 can be configured in terms of rotor geometry, knife arrangement, screen perforation, hopper design and the method of material feeding and discharge.
Special configurations can also be prepared for specific applications, including the shredding of long pipes, profiles and plastic components, by appropriately modifying the hopper and feeding system.
The granulator can work with conveyors, metal separators, dust extraction systems, conveying fans, cyclones and single- or multi-station Big-Bag stations.
