Zig-Zag air separator by Koltex Plastic Recycling Systems enables effective separation of bulk materials into fractions of different densities. The material for separation is fed into the machine by a rotary valve, ensuring even distribution across the entire cross-section of the separation channel.

Sorting is carried out by an upward air stream generated by a high-performance blower. The air flows through the separator channel, lifting lighter particles, while heavier fractions fall downward under gravity.


The special design of the Zig-Zag channel forces the material to pass repeatedly through the air stream at each bend. Lighter fractions are effectively lifted and discharged from the separator with the upper air stream, while heavier particles are retained and fall, ensuring a precise and efficient separation process.

The separator is equipped with advanced dedusting cyclones with filters that eliminate dust emissions throughout the process. As a result, the machine provides not only high separation efficiency, but also environmental safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
