Arburg to present Allrounder Trend at Plastimagen 2026

Arburg will exhibit at Plastimagen in Mexico City from 10 to 13 November 2026. At Stand 830, the company will focus on its new electric Allrounder Trend injection moulding machines. Two automated exhibits will demonstrate the range's applications, including the production of polypropylene keychains and polycarbonate safety glasses. Arburg will also present connected production using its digital solutions, including the company's Manufacturing Execution System, ALS, the arburgXworld customer portal and Arburg Remote Service, ARS.

Two automated Allrounder Trend exhibits

The two automated exhibits will demonstrate the energy-efficient and cost-effective production of plastic parts, combined with a compact footprint and a high degree of flexibility.

An electric Allrounder 1000 e Trend with a clamping force of 1,000 kN will produce PP keychains as an example of high-volume parts. The application uses an eight-cavity mould, while handling is performed by a Multilift Select 8 linear robotic system.

The second exhibit, an Allrounder 1800 e Trend with a clamping force of 1,800 kN, is also automated with a Multilift Select 8. Equipped with a six-cavity mould, the machine will produce two safety glasses made of transparent PC at a time. According to Arburg, precise injection profile control enables seamless part assembly while maintaining consistent quality.

Allrounder Trend with Gestica lite

Allrounder Trend machines are designed for a broad range of clamping force requirements. Their mould height and flexible design are intended to support larger moulds, auxiliary equipment and advanced engineering requirements. The machines are suitable for general-purpose applications across industries and are available for worldwide delivery at short notice.

According to the manufacturer, operators with different levels of experience can set up the machines rapidly. The range is designed for intuitive operation and straightforward maintenance, while combining energy efficiency with low investment and operating costs. Arburg also provides local service support in Mexico.

Four machine sizes are currently available, with clamping forces ranging from 500 to 2,000 kN. All Trend machines are equipped with the new Gestica lite control system, designed for both novice and experienced operators. It features an intuitive user interface and a clearly structured dashboard.

For automated injection moulding production, the Allrounder Trend can be equipped with all Arburg robotic systems and suitable compact protective guards. The components are fully integrated into the machine controller and can be incorporated into customised turnkey systems.

Digital products and remote support

Digitalisation will be another focus of Arburg's presence at Plastimagen 2026. The company's ALS manufacturing execution system is intended to help users maximise machine availability and production capacity, reduce scrap rates and improve transparency in injection moulding production.

Applications in the arburgXworld customer portal allow users to configure Allrounder machines with the aid of artificial intelligence, retrieve machine information and order spare parts around the clock. Arburg Remote Service enables customers to analyse machine conditions through remote diagnostics in cooperation with Arburg experts. Data is transferred through a secure, encrypted connection.
