At Fakuma 2026, Barlog Plastics will present solutions for sustainable plastics applications, metal substitution and accelerated product development. The company will exhibit in Hall A3, Stand A3-3309, with a programme covering new material developments, engineering expertise and flexible manufacturing solutions from concept through to series production. The presentation will focus on the expansion of the Keballoy Eco portfolio, including high-performance compounds based on high-quality post-consumer recycled materials, as well as PFAS-free tribological materials and support services intended to assist customers in material selection, component design and CO2 assessment at early development stages.

Sustainable materials and engineering support

A key element of the presentation will be the expanded Keballoy Eco portfolio. According to the company, the range includes high-performance compounds based on high-quality post-consumer recycled materials. It is complemented by PFAS-free tribological materials and Barlog Eco Services.

The service package includes Eco-Selection, Eco-Design, Eco-Calculator and Eco-Simulation. Barlog Plastics uses these services to support customers in optimising material selection, component design and CO2 assessment from the early stages of development.

Rapid tooling and small-batch production

Barlog Plastics will also present its expanded capabilities in rapid tooling, pre-series production and small-batch manufacturing. The range of services includes injection moulding, two-component applications, liquid silicone rubber processing and plastic-metal hybrids.

According to the company, these capabilities are intended to provide short development times, production-ready prototypes and rapid validation of development decisions.

Metal substitution with reinforced engineering plastics

Another focus of the exhibition will be the replacement of metal with highly reinforced engineering plastics. The company points to modern compounds that enable lighter, corrosion-resistant and cost-effective components. These materials can also provide additional functions, including electromagnetic shielding, magnetic properties or high material densities.

Barlog Plastics states that these material properties can help simplify assemblies and reduce costs.

PEKK-based high-performance compounds

In the field of high-performance materials, Barlog Plastics will introduce the new Kebapeak 9000 product range based on PEKK. The compounds can be used at temperatures of up to 385 °C and are designed to offer high load-bearing capacity and reduced wear under demanding operating conditions.

Barlog Plastics will be present at Fakuma 2026 in Hall A3, Stand A3-3309.
