Moretto will present conveying, dust separation, drying, material routing and plant supervision technologies at Fakuma. The exhibits include Loadmatik, Deduster, Delphy, new X Comb dryer models and the Mowis supervisory system.

Moretto will present a range of automation systems for plastics processing at the upcoming Fakuma trade fair. The company has operated for 45 years and holds 171 international patents. Its exhibits will cover material conveying, dust separation, manual material routing, dehumidifying drying, storage and plant supervision. Among the technologies on display will be the Loadmatik conveying system, which automatically recognises and applies conveying parameters after the operator specifies the source and destination. According to Moretto, the system calculates the required settings independently of conveying distance and material quantity. Visitors will be able to see a full-scale Loadmatik installation in operation at the fair.

Loadmatik combines three technologies. The One Wire 6 Plus smart server monitors and manages conveying parameters, interacting with system components to adjust operation without requiring operator input. X-Loader is a receiver for next-generation conveying systems that supports automatic detection of loading values. Its integrated Sentry+ technology recognises and adjusts system parameters in real time. KruiseKontrol dynamically manages operating pressures and adapts granule conveying speed to actual process requirements.

Self-learning algorithms continuously analyse operating data, including granule speed, operating pressures, pipe emptying time and receiver loading level. These data are used to manage the entire conveying path of the granules.

Dust separation before moulding

The new Deduster separator is intended to prevent dust and residues from causing aesthetic or structural defects in moulded plastic components. It combines the Vortex effect, mechanical separation and centrifugal force to remove dust from granules before moulding. The unit is designed so that the processed material comes into contact only with stainless steel components, reducing the risk of contamination.

An integrated ioniser is available for applications subject to the stringent requirements of the medical and optical sectors.

RFID-controlled material routing

Delphy is a manual manifold equipped with stainless steel connectors for material transport. Its RFID recognition system checks the correctness of each source-to-destination connection every second. Coloured flashing LEDs assist the operator during configuration. The system is intended to reduce connection errors and support material traceability, verification and validation.

Four additions to the X Comb dryer range

Moretto has expanded its compact X Comb dryer range with four models, from X Comb 17 to X Comb 20. They are designed to provide dehumidification independently of environmental conditions and to process technopolymers at production rates of up to 60 kg/h.

The new models are fully electric and occupy a footprint of 0.6 m². According to the company, the additions also incorporate functional and design changes while maintaining the required drying performance.

Storage and plant supervision

Moretto will also show storage solutions developed to preserve the physical properties of plastics, prevent contamination and maintain material traceability. Each batch can be identified and monitored from its arrival at the processing plant through to the processing machine.

All Moretto systems can be connected to Mowis, an integrated, self-configuring supervisory system for managing complex installations and viewing plant status. Operators can monitor equipment, track material use, manage production batches in real time and modify process parameters. Mowis records historical data, schedules workflows and generates real-time performance reports.

The system supports bidirectional communication with existing MES, Manufacturing Execution System, solutions via the standard OPC UA protocol. Its modular and scalable architecture allows modules to be added and existing installations to be expanded over time. Moretto will present the technologies in Hall B3, stand 3208 at Fakuma.
