Dr Boy have introduced on the European machine market new injection moulding series Boy XS.
Dr BOY insert moulding machines with vertically arranged clamping units offer many advantages for an automation of the production process. In particular, the easy and space-saving integration of peripheral equipment and the possibility for rapid changeover are decisive factors.
The cycle time reduction is without a doubt one of the most targeted productivity goals since the invention of the injection moulding machine.
Now there’s a better way to heat the barrel of injection molding machines. Xaloy nXheat induction barrel heating (patent pending) sharply cuts energy costs and improves temperature control for better quality and less scrap compared with conventional heater bands.
Arburg presented new solutions dedicated to the plastics industry. For the first time the Allrounder Golden Edition was presented with a Multilift V Select.
The highly specialized Swedish injection molding company, Holmgrens Plast AB in Gnosjö, equipped their machine outfit in 2008 with the fully electric Zhafir Venus series and appears to be satisfied with this decision.
Injection moulding machines that you can talk to are still science fiction, but as human-machine interaction continues to grow closer, communication is becoming increasingly easy. Intuitive control logic plays an important role here, such as the next generation CC 200 machine control unit recently presented by Engel. Another important step to shortening the man-machine divide is that of extending control logic by optimising operator ergonomics.
BOY follows the trend of the Fakuma's exhibition motto "energy efficiency" by presenting a servo-motor pump drive.
At this year's Fakuma the Swiss company Netstal-Maschinen AG will again show innovative exhibits with outstanding performance. With a total of four machines at the trade fair, all of which are system solutions, Netstal will once again provide proof of its expertise in the production of thin-walled packaging parts and high-precision technical parts.
Injection moulding for energy savers: KraussMaffei launches the new electric AX series at the Fakuma 2008.
With a motto of "Energise your future" the Austrian manufacturer of injection moulding machines, Engel, is exhibiting at Fakuma Friedrichshafen from 14 to 18 October. Energy optimised, powerful machine designs are the focus of this year`s trade fair presentation: the highlight is the new Engel duo 500 pico - a compact variant of the tried-and-trusted Engel duo large scale machine series. Besides this Engel will be presenting three fully electric machines and the Engel e-victory hybrid machine.
Arburg wouldn`t be Arburg if it weren`t constantly thinking up new well thought-out ways of expanding the modular Allrounder range. One new addition relates to the movement axes on the largest electric model to date, the Allrounder 570 A with a clamping force of 2,000 kN. In addition to the largest, size 800, electric injection unit, a hydraulically actuated, accumulator driver injection axis is now available in conjunction with the size 1300 injection unit. This permits much higher injection performance, injection speed and dynamism.
KraussMaffei not only has the know-how to engineer advanced systems for the three major plastics processing technologies - injection moulding, extrusion and reaction moulding. The company also develops innovative processes that open up totally new applications for plastic components.
The Austrian injection moulding machine manufacturer, Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH, is demonstrating the high performance capability of its toggle series TM at this year`s Plastpol in Kielce, Poland. The application can be seen in action in pavilion C, stand 109. This year marks the 12th edition of Plastpol, which has become the biggest and most important trade fair in the aspiring Eastern European plastics market.
At this year`s Plastpol, which will take place in Kielce in Poland from 27 to 30 May, Arburg will demonstrate three exhibits on its representative stand. On Stand B 30 in Hall B, two Allrounder Golden Edition machines and a vertical Allrounder V will produce technical parts, thereby demonstrating the extraordinary versatility of this cost-effective machine series. Indeed, these exhibits perfectly address the requirements of the Polish market.
Plastics processors GRAF from Teningen recently commissioned a two platen ENGEL machine with a clamping force of 55,000 kN and three injection units for the production of underground tanks and logistics containers. ENGEL has broken all previous records with this development. The duo 5500 not only supports shot weights of up to 140 kg with its three injection units, but is also very economical with its extremely low energy consumption.
At the international plastics trade fair Plastpol in Kielce / Poland, the Swiss company Netstal-Maschinen AG, producer of the famous injection moulding machines bearing the same name, is demonstrating its perfectly established SynErgy machine on the exhibition stand of its agent MUEHSAM Jan Krzysztof Muehsam. The application in question is typical for the area of thin-wall injection moulding and underpins the performance capability of this range of Netstal equipment.
With the slogan "low energy, high performance" exhibits Netstal, the Swiss manufacturer of injection moulding machines, for the first time at the international trade fair Interpack in Düsseldorf/Germany.
