New Henkel hot melt adhesive for PET labels supports recycling

Henkel has launched the Technomelt EM 335 RE hot melt adhesive for labeling PET bottles. The alkali-dispersible adhesive is up to 98% removable, operates at 110–140°C, and is Petcycle-approved, helping achieve cleaner PET flakes and meet PPWR recycled-content requirements.

Steinert shows AI sorting for complex plastics at K 2025

At K 2025, Steinert will demonstrate sensor- and AI-based systems for sorting difficult plastic streams, including black packaging, thin films and contaminated food containers. The program also includes plant tours and technical talks in the VDMA forum.
