Amcor to present packaging solutions at Privel 2026

Amcor will present its packaging portfolio for private-label manufacturers, co-packers and retailers at Privel 2026, which will take place on 4 and 5 November at Ifema Madrid. The company will exhibit on stand 14B03, where its technical and commercial specialists will discuss requirements for food, non-food, pet care, beauty and wellness applications.

The portfolio on display will include rigid and flexible packaging, closures, specialist solutions and several material options. According to Amcor, the packaging is designed to combine functional performance and shelf presentation with features adapted to individual product categories. The company will also provide guidance on the integration of post-consumer recycled material, recyclability validation and packaging design aligned with retailers' sustainability roadmaps. These discussions will cover changes in the European regulatory framework, including requirements under the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, PPWR.

Organised by Ifema Madrid, Privel 2026 connects private-label manufacturers with retailers. Its exhibition covers food, non-food and pet care products, while the conference programme addresses market trends and opportunities in Europe, Latin America and other international markets.

Containers and closures for food applications

For private-label food applications, Amcor will present the UniPak range for dairy products. It includes the UniPak 1 kg pot and the recently launched UniPak Luma, which uses up to 35% less plastic. The company will also show SuperLight containers, available in thermoformed and injection-moulded versions for dairy products, and Eurotub, a container line intended mainly for spreads, yellow fats and general food applications.

The closure portfolio will include the 55 mm Flava Flip Top Closure for mayonnaise, ketchup and sweet sauces. Sunny and Pical pouring closures are designed for products including edible oils, dressings and sauces. Amcor will also present the new Moderna Flip Top tamper-evident closure, developed for vinegar, sauces and dressings.

Lightweight roll-on packaging

For beauty and wellness products, Amcor will highlight its lightweight Shado deodorant roll-on. The pack has a rounded base, a choice of colours and a large labelling area that enables adaptation to individual brand requirements. Its lightweight, durable construction is intended to protect the product and prevent leakage.

"Private-label customers, whether retailers or co-packers, need packaging that performs today while helping them prepare for evolving market and regulatory expectations," said Mirko Todeschi, sales director at Amcor. "At Privel, our experts will demonstrate how Amcor combines a broad portfolio and deep material expertise with the ability to deliver scalable packaging solutions across countries and regions, helping customers meet their operational needs, sustainability objectives and evolving market requirements."
